On the 12th August we held our second presentation to primary school aged children at the thriving Armstrong Centre in Beverley with the first (trial run) being at Keldmarsh Primary School in June.
Over 25 children and parents attended and after a presentation by TWOB along with some games, Karen Wagg from ERYC talked to the children about recycling. The parents also gained a few tips and realised not all their rubbish was being put in the correct bins!
Linda Johnson, our wonderful Mayor of Beverley also attended to support the initiative
Thanks goes to Rachel Snowden from Morrisons who provided ice creams, sweets and drinks for free to all our audience!
We had lots of questions and some new members sign up and if it educates just one child then we have done our job
Thanks for all the brilliant TWOB volunteers who also helped.
